nerBeater began working with music in early 2005, after finding several different pieces of audio software. As be began experimenting with different samples and effects, his catalog of self created instrumentals gradually expanded, until he suddenly found himself with several dozen songs to work with. Being Schizophrenic, his music is a reflection at times of the chaotic energies inside himself. He was quoted saying "I have succumbed at times to intense delusional belief and experienced twisted hallucinations. When I settled, I wanted my mind to keep bending things, but certain ideas wouldn't bend or would flow too freely around my imagination. Music allows me to explore emotionally and rationally stimulating creativity, without getting sidetracked in the twisted sounds of a schizophrenic mind.”

Two years after starting his music career, he was releasing both albums and mix-tapes to his friends and fans. It was one such mix-tape that made it into the hands of Mister Waugh, who had been performing hip hop for several few years. He was impressed with the abstract sounds of nerBeater, and sought him out through a mutual friend. After meeting each other, Waugh and nerBeater began almost instantly collaborating on a side project, fusing conscious hip hop content, with the abstract and alienish sounds nerBeater was becoming known for. The pair became the Rebels Of Terra, and would continue working on new material over the coming years. nerBeater was constantly releasing not only Rebels material, but his own collection of albums as well. During this time he studied to become a professional audio engineer, and was continuously sought out for new and exciting projects.
